TN562: Publishing a White-labeled NowForce Responder Mobile Application in Android
This document describes how to publish your own Android version of the SymphiaNowForce Responder mobile application.
This guide describes the following:
- Configuring your SymphiaNowForce Responder mobile application using the Google Play Console.
- Releasing your SymphiaNowForce Responder mobile application to your users on Google Play.
Before you Begin
Before creating your new Android application you must prepare the following:
- An APK see Appendix - Creating an APK Certificate
- A store icon graphics: 512x512
- A banner (“feature graphics”) 1024x500
- At least two screen shots from the app
- An APK certificate
The Android system requires that each installed application be digitally signed with a certificate that is owned by the application's developer. The certificate that you use for signing does not need to be signed by a certificate authority; the Android system allows you to sign your applications with a self-signed certificate.
The NowForce APK Certificate is available for your Android app installation. If your organization requires your own APK certificate be used, read here.
